We are screaming ahead on Album three, as yet unnamed, and are working with 14 new numbers: Elysium Fields, Clocks, Leviathan, Nevermore, Symphy, Stygian Tears, Little Piggies, Yak On My Shoes, Sharky's Bait, Feed the People, Another Place, Another Time, Split my Soul, Inside Outside Coming In and The Pawn.
Elysium Fields is a Jazz Swing Number featuring Neckstrap horns and some crazy Cathead solos. Clocks is a psuedo-electronica song with some heavy guitars thrown in for fun. Leviathan is a political tune about the lack of change and is in 7/4 meter. Nevermore is an interesting "pushed eighth" number with some real cool progressions and changes. Yak On My Shoes and Split my Soul are guitar-fest numbers as Cathead continues to resurrect '70s hard rock. Sharky's Bait is a great little number about sho' biz sacrifices, alla a little funky. Symphy is another Cathead Trancie thing complete with vocal descants, drums and more drums and screaming guitars. Feed the People is still in the works but seems to be leaning to a Huey Long Political Tune. Little Piggies is a quasi-blues number about Toe Fetishes. Another Place, Another Time is a ballad featuring Neckstrap Alto Horns, Stygian Tears is a alluring then powerful number reminiscent of Pink Floyd. More is brewing.....Please take a listen in the GPZ Tunes New Roughcuts player (Click on the EQ Graphic). Inside Outside Coming In features the talents of Alex Torres, a new Zombie. Alex is a very talented singer/songwriter. Check him out. The Pawn is a interesting number featuring the Cher'd Striker.
As always, we appreciate your support and hope you will get your copy of our two released albums (signed available upon request) either through this site, iTunes, ReverbNation or DF Jams.
Once again, thanks for all your comments and support. Keep them coming and Please stay tuned as we continue on Album 3.
